Leah Oviedo is a writer, artist, self-defense instructor and urban farmer. After healing from a long depression, she became certified in mental health first aid and is intent on decimating the stigma of depression. She hosts weekly depression support groups, creative expression and uses social media to reach out to those who are suffering from mental illness. She recently published a book about her experience with depression.
